Disaster Response and Resources

Disaster Response & Preparedness

Disaster preparedness and timely response is essential for the protection of lives and property as well as mitigating the sense of loss and hopelessness in the aftermath of a disaster. Assisting affected individuals, groups, and churches through disasters witnesses to the love and healing of Jesus Christ and builds up the resiliency of the body of Christ.

EZEKIEL 38:7

Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.

PREPAREDNESS TRAININGS

DRT (1)

The Grace Presbytery Disaster Response Team is committed to strengthening our congregations by providing essential safety and first aid training. These sessions are designed to move beyond basic awareness, equipping members with the practical skills needed to act confidently during an emergency. By offering instruction in life-saving techniques like CPR and AED usage, alongside guidance on campus security and disaster planning, the team helps ensure that our churches are truly prepared to care for their neighbors. Ultimately, these trainings foster a culture of readiness, transforming our houses of worship into communities where well-being is a priority.
