When the Unthinkable Happens

We hear about violence on television. We may know someone impacted by it when it happens elsewhere. But then it comes too close to home. It comes to our schools or our malls. Our minds naturally turn to “that could be me, or my family and friends.” The boundaries of our life are impacted when it comes to my town.

It is time to listen to one another. What have you experienced? What are your fears and concerns? How should we as people of faith be thinking about this? How can we help our children deal with this and feel safe?

Join us for a time of discussion and sharing. Let’s think together about what has happened and how we can find hope.

Sunday, May 21 from 5 pm – 6 pm in McCoy Chapel.

Facilitated by
