Church Development Committee
The Church Development Committee oversees and supports new church developments, fellowships, new worshipping communities, and other partnerships created by the presbytery.
This committee also recommends to the Presbytery Council the establishment of new church developments. All such recommendations must include a plan for financial support and ministry goals.
CHURCH DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE GRANTS
The Process:
You may not apply for a 1001 NWC Grant before the presbytery has approved your NWC. To start that process, please email Pepa Paniagua.
Seed Grant - Level 1 - $10,000- It provides $10,000 to help start a 1001 NWC Community and supports the first year of ministry.
Investment Grant - Level 2- NWC Investment Grants total $30,000 per NWC. Applications may be submitted to the Grants Team 12 months (or more) following receipt of an NWC Seed Grant. The Investment Grant period lasts 18 months, after which an NWC may apply for a Growth Grant.
Growth Grant - Level 3 - NWC Growth Grants total $30,000 per NWC. Applications may be submitted to the Grants Team once 18 months have elapsed since receipt of a NWC Investment Grant.
