Amazing scholarship opportunities to attend the Association of Presbyterian Church Educators’ (APCE) Virtual Annual Event February 4-6, 2021 are now available! The actual cost to attend is $100, but APCE scholarships currently offered could make it FREE for you to attend.
Presbytery Scholarship Opportunities
Each presbytery (and classis) has been invited to submit names and contact information for up to four recipients of full scholarships ($100) for the 2021 Annual Event. Please contact your presbytery or classis leadership to inquire.
Criteria:
- The participants serve or attend a church with an annual budget of less than $200,000.
- The participants commit to full attendance at the online event.
- Scholarship preference is given to Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) participants.
- The deadline for submission of names is January 15, 2021.
The South Central Region of APCE (SCRAPCE) is also offering scholarships to attend.
For persons serving a PCUSA church in the Synod of the Sun, an amount of $50 (50% of registration) for the APCE Annual Event. Scholarships are also available through presbyteries. In the case of Grace Presbytery, please contact Leah Wyckoff.
Deadline: While the official deadline has passed, SCRAPCE is still accepting nominations for scholarships and considering them on a case by case basis. You can learn more and apply here.
