At the River
First Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth welcomes the public to participate in a screening of the brand new documentary At the River on Saturday, April 30th.
In the film, director and filmmaker Carolyn Crowder interviews Presbyterian ministers who served congregations in the south during the Civil Rights Era about their experiences combatting racism in their local communities and congregations.
Through interviews and hymns, Crowder tells the stories of courageous ministers who “tried to do the right thing when the right thing was difficult and dangerous to do.”
Following the screening, Crowder will lead participants in a discussion and dialogue.
