DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nTuesday\, March 25\, 2025\nSouth Region Zoom\nOnline Only\nfrom 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM \nA new vision of stewardship and generosity in Grace Presbytery  \nIn September 2024\, at the stated meeting of the presbytery in Waco\, representatives from the Budget & Finance Committee\, along with the Rev. Josh Kerr\, Ministry Relations Officer with the Presbyterian Foundation\, presented a new vision of stewardship and generosity in Grace Presbytery. In our work and witness as Christ’s church together\, we are seeking to equip churches with the tools needed to grow a culture of generosity\, grow in our connectional church relationships\, and strengthen funding for local and regional ministry. The plan to implement our vision includes: listening sessions\, financial health analysis\, education with experts\, regional opportunities\, and local church support. We are excited to announce that the first phase of our shared vision begins now!  \nYou are invited! Please join us for an upcoming Stewardship and Generosity Listening Session \nThe first phase of our plan calls for listening sessions focused on stewardship goals\, challenges\, and practical ideas for churches in different contexts. We will listen well and take notes that will be used to plan resourcing and learning opportunities throughout the rest of 2025. Upcoming listening sessions will include both in-person and Zoom gatherings; some are regional and some are presbytery-wide. \nWho should attend a listening session?\nWe encourage those who are involved in the financial health of congregations to join us at a regional listening session. That might be members of your session\, clerks of session\, church treasurers\, pastoral leadership\, or stewardship and finance committee members. As we share this vision and work together\, we hope to engage with as many congregations as possible. \nFinancial Health Assessments\nThe first phase of our plan also invites churches to complete a Financial Health Assessment\, a tool provided by the Presbyterian Foundation to help congregations better understand their church’s financial health. This assessment is best done by a church treasurer\, clerk\, pastor\, or finance chair. It is helpful\, but not required\, to complete this before attending a listening session. \nYour presence and perspective matter! We hope to see you soon at one of our listening sessions. DESCRIPTION:LEARN MORE and REGISTER\nMarch 27 – 29\, 2025\nMarble Falls\, TX\nThrough guided reflection\, healing practices\, and peer support\, we’ll explore the complexities of faith and trauma. In a safe\, non-judgmental space\, we’ll inventory our own faith formation\, naming the elements that have been deeply meaningful as well as those that have inflicted pain and caused harm. Together\, we’ll imagine what a healthy and safe faith community can look like—one that contributes to the world’s flourishing—and we’ll develop the requisite skills to lead as wounded healers.
