DESCRIPTION:LINK to FLYER\nLINK to REGISTER\nSeptember 9\, 2025\nfrom 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM\n(Lunch Included)\nGrace Presbytery Office\n6100 Colwell Blvd.\, Ste. 100\, Irving\, TX 75039\nJoin Karl Mattison and Josh Kerr from the Presbyterian Foundation for a presentation and conversation on Planned Giving. They’ll share the numbers and trends and explore: \n\nThe Great Wealth Transfer: What is it? How big is it? How has the Presbyterian church fared?\nThe Challenge for my Church: Feeling squeezed out\, but actually having a competitive advantage.\nA Simple Plan: It’s easier than you think. Walk out the door with a simple plan and the tools to implement it.  You will have the resources to build your own plan\, a planned giving page\, brochure\, and communications plan after this presentation.\n\nHere are some reasons why planned giving is critical to your ministry: \n\nPlanned gifts are the largest gift of a lifetime.\nGivers are younger than we expect.\nMore PCUSA churches are receiving them in recent years and in substantially increasing values.\nIn the wealth transfer\, it will increase by multiples.\nPlanned giving increases annual giving.\nIt is relatively untapped.

DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nMonday\, April 28\, 2025\nat the East Region Quarterly Lunch\nGilmont Camp & Conference Center\n6075 State Hwy 155\, Gilmer\, TX 75644\nat Noon \nA new vision of stewardship and generosity in Grace Presbytery  \nIn September 2024\, at the stated meeting of the presbytery in Waco\, representatives from the Budget & Finance Committee\, along with the Rev. Josh Kerr\, Ministry Relations Officer with the Presbyterian Foundation\, presented a new vision of stewardship and generosity in Grace Presbytery. In our work and witness as Christ’s church together\, we are seeking to equip churches with the tools needed to grow a culture of generosity\, grow in our connectional church relationships\, and strengthen funding for local and regional ministry. Please join us for an upcoming Stewardship and Generosity Listening Session \nThe first phase of our plan calls for listening sessions focused on stewardship goals\, challenges\, and practical ideas for churches in different contexts. DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE \nWednesday\, April 16\, 2025\nduring the Zoom Specialized Ministers Gathering\na.k.a. Beyond the Walls\nfrom Noon to 1:00 \nA new vision of stewardship and generosity in Grace Presbytery  \nIn September 2024\, at the stated meeting of the presbytery in Waco\, representatives from the Budget & Finance Committee\, along with the Rev. Upcoming listening sessions will include both in-person and Zoom gatherings; some are regional and some are presbytery-wide. \nWho should attend this listening session?\nThis session is designed for those serving in specialized ministries beyond the walls of the church. We recognize that many of you not only carry out ministry in these unique settings but also preach\, moderate\, and provide leadership within churches in the presbytery. This session offers a dedicated space to hear your perspectives and experiences. \nUnderstanding the distinct contributions that specialized ministries bring to our shared vision of stewardship and generosity\, we encourage you to participate—whether you are engaged in the financial health of these ministries or serve in various ministry contexts. Your insights are vital to this conversation. \nFinancial Health Assessments\nThe first phase of our plan also invites churches to complete a Financial Health Assessment\, a tool provided by the Presbyterian Foundation to help congregations better understand their church’s financial health. DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE\nTuesday\, March 25\, 2025\nSouth Region Zoom\nOnline Only\nfrom 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM \nA new vision of stewardship and generosity in Grace Presbytery  \nIn September 2024\, at the stated meeting of the presbytery in Waco\, representatives from the Budget & Finance Committee\, along with the Rev. The plan to implement our vision includes: listening sessions\, financial health analysis\, education with experts\, regional opportunities\, and local church support. We are excited to announce that the first phase of our shared vision begins now!  \nYou are invited! Please join us for an upcoming Stewardship and Generosity Listening Session \nThe first phase of our plan calls for listening sessions focused on stewardship goals\, challenges\, and practical ideas for churches in different contexts. We will listen well and take notes that will be used to plan resourcing and learning opportunities throughout the rest of 2025. Upcoming listening sessions will include both in-person and Zoom gatherings; some are regional and some are presbytery-wide. \nWho should attend a listening session?\nWe encourage those who are involved in the financial health of congregations to join us at a regional listening session. That might be members of your session\, clerks of session\, church treasurers\, pastoral leadership\, or stewardship and finance committee members. As we share this vision and work together\, we hope to engage with as many congregations as possible. \nFinancial Health Assessments\nThe first phase of our plan also invites churches to complete a Financial Health Assessment\, a tool provided by the Presbyterian Foundation to help congregations better understand their church’s financial health. This assessment is best done by a church treasurer\, clerk\, pastor\, or finance chair. It is helpful\, but not required\, to complete this before attending a listening session. \nYour presence and perspective matter! We hope to see you soon at one of our listening sessions. We are better together! \nIf you have questions about the listening sessions\, please contact Christopher Lee\, Josh Kerr\, or your Regional Ministry Associate. \n\nChristopher Lee\, Executive Presbyter\, chris@gracepresbtyery.org\nJosh Kerr\, Ministry Relations Officer\, Presbyterian Foundation\, joshua.kerr@presbyterianfoundation.org\nLisa Wraith\, North RMA\, lisa@gracepresbytery.org\nJudith March-Hardie\, South RMA\, judith@gracepresbytery.org\nMichele Goff\, East RMA\, michele@gracepresbytery.org\nSharon Curry\, West RMA\, sharon@gracepresbytery.org
