SUMMARY:Planned Giving Event
DESCRIPTION:LINK to FLYER\nLINK to REGISTER\nSeptember 9\, 2025\nfrom 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM\n(Lunch Included)\nGrace Presbytery Office\n6100 Colwell Blvd.\, Ste. 100\, Irving\, TX 75039\nJoin Karl Mattison and Josh Kerr from the Presbyterian Foundation for a presentation and conversation on Planned Giving. They’ll share the numbers and trends and explore: \n\nThe Great Wealth Transfer: What is it? How big is it? How has the Presbyterian church fared?\nThe Challenge for my Church: Feeling squeezed out\, but actually having a competitive advantage.\nA Simple Plan: It’s easier than you think. Walk out the door with a simple plan and the tools to implement it.  You will have the resources to build your own plan\, a planned giving page\, brochure\, and communications plan after this presentation.\n\nHere are some reasons why planned giving is critical to your ministry: \n\nPlanned gifts are the largest gift of a lifetime.\nGivers are younger than we expect.\nMore PCUSA churches are receiving them in recent years and in substantially increasing values.\nIn the wealth transfer\, it will increase by multiples.\nPlanned giving increases annual giving.\nIt is relatively untapped.

SUMMARY:Stewardship & Generosity Conversation: South Region
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER HERE \nSeptember 20\, 2025\nSaturday at 10:00 AM\nPresbyterian Church of Salado\n105 Salado Plaza Drive\, Salado\, TX 76571 \nYou are cordially invited to gather with your presbytery colleagues for a time of fellowship\, prayer and to hear a special presentation from Rev. Christopher M. Lee\, Executive Presbyter\, regarding stewardship and generosity within the bounds of Grace Presbytery. We hope that you will join us in celebrating God’s abundant provision for the ministries of Grace Presbytery in 2025 while we look forward to 2026! Our shared ministry unites us and bears witness to God’s desire for justice\, mercy\, and love. \nAs we consider our shared ministry\, I am reminded of the words of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who once said\, “Whatever affects one directly\, affects all indirectly. I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be\, and you can never be what you ought to be until I am what I ought to be. This is the inter-related structure of reality.” Our time together will include a conversation on the importance of the continued support of our shared ministry. All are welcome to join us.\nFood will be provided so we kindly ask that you RSVP. \nIf you have any questions\, please reach out to Tammy Stepka\, Coordinator of Office & Ministry Support\, via email at tammy@gracepresbytery.org or by phone\, (214) 393-5607.
