This topical cohort is sponsored by the Congregational Support Committee of Grace Presbytery. 

Programming will include:

Mental Wellness and Brain Health Trainings by Shirley Weddle, 
Co-founder and President of the Rotary E-club for Suicide Prevention and Brain Health; with Matthew K Weddle, Fellowship for Cognitive Neuroscience Graduate Studies UT Dallas

Tuesday’s focus will be Safety Plan Training -Create your own safety plan, a written list of coping strategies and support resources, giving you the tools to help others create their own, and we will work in small groups to dialogue working our safety plans.

Wednesday’s focus will be exploring Biblical texts and brain health. And there will be a Narcan Training to respond effectively to an opioid overdose emergency. A sample will be given to each participant. 

AND there will be fellowship, campfires, and fun. It is our hope some of the participants in this cohort will remain together for ongoing support in ministry and life.

$200 for the first 15 registered. (Grace Presbytery CSC pays $200) For the CSC discount, ministry leaders (clergy and laity) must be in Grace Presbytery.
