For: Newly-elected moderators of Grace Presbytery standing committees

Purpose: This training will begin with a presentation of the presbytery’s new vision and strategic initiatives, as set forth by our membership. It will also cover things like council and stated meetings, how to format committee reports, associated deadlines, and how to request docket time.

Training will include an overview of the presbytery budget and how to submit financial expenses for reimbursement.

Committee moderators are instrumental in helping plan events and offerings and communicating these to a wider audience. New moderators will also learn the process of submitting requests for communication and scheduling guidelines for events.

Additionally, training will be offered on leading hybrid volunteers teams in this new post-pandemic reality.

When: Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., including lunch
