You will be given a binder full of reading material and liturgical materials you can use. If you are interested\, please discern prayerfully if this is something you are called to do. Then ask your Session for approval. Once you have session approval\, Michele Goff (michele@gracepresbytery.org) or Sharon Curry (sharon@gracepresbytery.org) can help you get approval from COM\, and you are ready for the one-day course. Candles provide light and warmth and show us what is around us. Similarly\, love\, hope\, joy\, and peace provide us wisdom and guide us as we live out our faith in the world. As we prepared to celebrate the birth of Jesus\, we also considered what the Advent season teaches us about right and faithful ways of living. \nRight before Christmas\, Winter Retreat is the perfect opportunity to get the kids out of the house for last-minute Christmas shopping or can be gifted as an early Christmas present to grandkids\, nieces and nephews\, and other younger family members or friends.
