Grace Presbytery, together with First Presbyterian Presbyterian Church of Waco, will offer a Service of Ordination on Sunday, November 6th at 4:00 p.m. to ordain Parker Lucas as Minister of Word & Sacrament.

Parker current serves as pastoral resident at FPC, Waco. He arrived at his position from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary by way of South Carolina.

Art and being immersed in nature influence Parker’s education, ministry, and hobbies. You can often find him rock climbing, hiking, doodling, or at one of the local coffee shops. He has previously worked in the camp and conference center field, learning and leading others in high ropes, canoeing, kayaking, and turtle-watching.

Recently, Parker has been leading Creature’s heART; a cohort focused on the intersections of art and spirituality.

Grace Presbytery is excited to worship with the members of FPC, Waco and delighted to officially ordain Parker to the ministry!
