Soaking in Resurrection Retreat
April 1 – 4, 2024
Gilmont Camp and Conference Center
6075 State Hwy 155, Gilmer, TX 75644
Now is the time for you to walk the Road to Emmaus, to walk with the wonder of the things that have happened over these days and to eat breakfast with Jesus on the beach. Now is the time for you to soak in the mystery of resurrection and embrace the new life god has for you.
The rhythm of this retreat is designed for ministry leaders to engage in deep breathing after busy Lent and Easter seasons. There will be ample time:
- to rest
- to worship
- to walk
- to listen
- to be with friends in community
- to play
- to soak in the resurrection message
- to feast at the table
Clay Brantley, Lil Smith, and other leaders have designed the rhythm of the retreat to be airy with lots of room for you to choose how to lean into rest, to reflect, and to be renewed. Each day will include one plenary session and one worship opportunity. Optional programming will be available for those who want more structure. You will select these items on your registration form. Clay and Lil will also be available to meet with individuals who desire a time or spiritual direction/compassionate listening.
