UPDATE: (January 19, 2022) In consultation with the 28 sponsoring organizations who are joining Faith Commons to bring Valarie Kaur to Dallas, as well as with Ms. Kaur’s agent, we have decided to postpone her visit. We are actively working on finalizing the new dates, and will announce those as soon as possible.
Faith Commons is pleased to to welcome Valarie Kaur for a public lecture and intensive workshop on February 2-3, 2022. Ms. Kaur is the founder of the Revolutionary Love Project. A Sikh American faith leader, educator, filmmaker and lawyer, Ms. Kaur invites us to be part of a revolution to transform our fear and anger into joy and love.
Our goal is to bring Ms. Kaur’s message to as many people of Dallas as possible through a wide network of sponsors.
You have two opportunities to hear from Ms. Kaur:
Wednesday evening, February 2, she will speak at 7:30 p.m. at Moody Performance Hall. Tickets are available through Eventbrite for $15.00 per person. On Thursday, February 3, Ms. Kaur will lead a workshop. Tickets for the workshop are $250 each and include a copy of her book, See No Stranger.
Tickets for Wednesday evening lecture ($15)
Tickets for the Thursday workshop ($250)
Valarie’s TEDTalk is a 22 minute introduction to her concept of revolutionary love and was the basis for her book, See No Stranger.
