DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, February 21\, 2026\nfrom 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM\nGrace Presbytery Office\n6100 Colwell Blvd\, Irving\, TX\nCommunion training is available to ruling elders serving churches who do not currently have a serving pastor. Training includes lunch. We cover Communion from theological\, spiritual\, denominational\, and practical perspectives. You will be given a binder full of reading material and liturgical materials you can use. If you are interested\, please discern prayerfully if this is something you are called to do. Then ask your Session for approval. Once you have session approval\, Michele Goff (michele@gracepresbytery.org) or Sharon Curry (sharon@gracepresbytery.org) can help you get approval from COM\, and you are ready for the one-day course. Upon completion of the class\, you will be certified to serve communion in your home church for three years. Email Michele or Sharon to sign up.

The doctors will share their accounts of what they saw and learned. The event is meant to bring awareness through personal accounts at a time when those are hard to come by. The event will be hybrid both in person and over zoom. For in person attendance\, dinner will served at 6\, and the online community will join at 6:45 for a panel discussion followed by a Q&A. We will be distributing questionnaires at the end of the event asking what other events folks would like to have regarding this topic or others.
