The Social Justice Public Witness Committee and UKirk SMU are sponsoring a free public screening of the groundbreaking documentary, The Librarians. The documentary is the story of Texas librarians defending intellectual freedom and privacy by standing up to government surveillance, censorship, and pressure to restrict access to information. The SMU student senate has purchased banned books to give to attendees, and UKirk will be giving out branded tote bags. Join the conversation on the dangers of censorship and book banning.
