Before I was called to the ministry of the Church, I was called to be a husband, and along the way became called, twice, to be a father. In the rigors of ministry, I never confuse this order, therefore, I set healthy and appropriate boundaries for family and ministry, of which, I never compromise. I bring intensity, flexibility, conviction, energy and imagination. I need freedom to work at my own pace, a dynamic environment, a cause and clear purpose, freedom to be joyful, and the freedom to make mid-course corrections. I love completing tasks, initiating and managing necessary change, altruism, living life to its fullest and seeing a way when others assume there is no way.

To effectively serve in this role, it is important that I share the fullness of who I am because I do not have everything I need to lead. When I approach leadership, I recognize that I need others to be effective just as others may need what I bring. None of us have all the gifts.
