GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS FUNDED BY OR AVAILABLE THROUGH GRACE PRESBYTERY
PRAIRIE VALLEY LEGACY FUND
Children and Youth Ministry Committee, CYMC, awards Prairie Valley Scholarship funds to children and youth for presbytery camps, retreats, and non-Gilmont summer programs.
RENEWED GRACE
Congregations in Cohort 1 will receive $5,000 to support their work in designing and implementing worship practices with neurodivergent children.
CONGREGATIONAL NEW MINISTRY
These funds provide one-year “seed money” to encourage and support congregations in creating new and innovative ministries.
SMALL CHURCH MINISTRY
These funds help smaller congregations (75 or fewer attendees) enhance ministries or programs by covering non-budgeted or emergency expenses.
EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE GRANT
To assist congregations with severe property damage due to unexpected events such as, but not limited to
flooding, wind, and fire.
PREACHING SCHOLARSHIP
The Karl Travis Fund provides scholarships to seminarians committed to congregational ministry and excellence in preaching.
NWC SEED GRANT
Level 1 – Seed Grant: Provides $10,000 to launch a 1001 NWC Community and support its first year of ministry.
NWC INVESTMENT GRANT
Level 2 – Investment Grant: Offers up to $30,000 per NWC, available 12+ months after a Seed Grant, and runs for 18 months.
NWC GROWTH GRANT
Level 3 – Growth Grant: Provides up to $30,000 per NWC, available 18 months after completing an Investment Grant.
SJPW GRANTS & SCHOLARSHIPS
To support Grace Presbytery congregations and individuals in creating innovative ministries that address social justice.
FUNDING FOR SJPW EVENTS
We support congregations with resources and funding to partner with broader justice movements and organizations.
DIVERSITY EVENT SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship supports diversity and inclusion by encouraging applicants from varied backgrounds to attend church events, enriching the experience for all.
TOM CURRIE SCHOLARSHIP
Established in 2008, this scholarship is awarded to fund seminary education for racially and ethnically diverse students under the care of the Grace Presbytery.
STUDENTS UNDER CARE
CPM-funded scholarships support inquirers and candidates under care as they pursue seminary, discern their calling, and prepare for ministry.
