Join Karl Mattison and Josh Kerr from the Presbyterian Foundation for a presentation and conversation on Planned Giving. They’ll share the numbers and trends and explore:

  • The Great Wealth Transfer: What is it? How big is it? How has the Presbyterian church fared?
  • The Challenge for my Church: Feeling squeezed out, but actually having a competitive advantage.
  • A Simple Plan: It’s easier than you think. Walk out the door with a simple plan and the tools to implement it.  You will have the resources to build your own plan, a planned giving page, brochure, and communications plan after this presentation.

Here are some reasons why planned giving is critical to your ministry:

  • Planned gifts are the largest gift of a lifetime.
  • Givers are younger than we expect.
  • More PCUSA churches are receiving them in recent years and in substantially increasing values.
  • In the wealth transfer, it will increase by multiples.
  • Planned giving increases annual giving.
  • It is relatively untapped.
